Welcome to antikvarlden.se, website since 1998 of the leading Swedish business magazine for fine art and antiques, Antikvärlden.
The Antikvärlden Magazine is published monthly in Stockholm, Sweden and covers all leading auctions, antiques fairs and art exhibitions in Scandinavia, as well as internationally. Founded in 1993 the magazine has an average circulation of 28 900 copies per issue. Ever since the start The Buy- and Sell market has been a very important and active section.
The website www.antikvarlden.se were substantially improved in 2007 when an open data base and a buy- and sell market were implemented. The Buy- and Sell market is a marketplace for art and antiques and is largely a developed extension of the print version market, which has some 100 000 readers every month.
Antikvärlden Magazine is published by Antikbörsens Förlag AB in Stockholm. Editor-in-chief is Winston Hakanson. The Company is also publishing the GÅRD&TORP Magazine, specializing in the field of the restoration of genuine old houses.
The Swedish antiques market is dominated by 18th and 19th century furniture, porcelain, silver, glass and artefacts of both Swedish and European origin. Lately a considerable part of the market consists of modern, mid 20th Century design from Sweden, Denmark and Finland. The leading Swedish and Scandinavian art period is the plein-air years during the last decades of the 19th Century and the beginning of the 20th Century. By tradition a lot of Russian pieces of art is also to be found in Scandinavia.
Buy- and Sell Market (BSM)
Summary
- The BSM is open for everybody.
- The price of an ad is 20 Swedish kronor.
- You can pay using your cell phone or a regular phone, if you are calling from Sweden.
- When you are outside of Sweden you can only pay via credit card.
- The credit card payment service will be implemented before the end of March 2007.
- Select buy under Köp, or sell under Sälj.
- Enter a caption of your choice under Rubrik.
- State your price, name, e-mail and telephone number.
- Fill out your location under Ort.
- Select a category that fits your object under Ämneskategori.
- Select which Swedish landscape you´re currently residing in.
- Write a short description of your object in the box called Annonstext.
- Upload a picture of the object under Bild and check the box for conditions of use.
- Click Gå vidare and make your payment.
The ad will be up for 30 days, after which you may renew it.
You are kindly asked to delete your ad after the lot in question has been sold or no longer is for sale.
